This t(ea) collective was established to offer queer people of color a space to talk about our personal lives, the latest news and issues on campus and beyond, to form friendships, try new drinks, and so much more! T(ea) is especially great for those that want to network within the Coalition but cannot commit to having a more structured role or duty within the organization.
Every t(ea) meets with a suggested topic for conversation (e.g. family, language pluralism, exotification) and a word/phrase-of-the-day to unpack as a group (e.g. pink dollar, co-opt, institutionalized oppression). T(ea) meets every week, but always on a rotating schedule of different days and times throughout the month.
