I find it odd so many give decent rating of this place. The staff is rude to you for no reason. It not a place to expect hospitality. There only two ways to be accepted. First if u grew up here in the scene. Second if ur a young twink or extremely hot. Most go here have mediocre jobs with hairdressing at top of the list with that being indicative of personality. I have lived several states and found gay bars to be accepting. Surprisingly this one enjoys belittling newcomers especially the salon hair dress types. Not sure what they expect in life. I guess to have thier gay slice of heavenly gay Dayton. Only cause all they know is gossip as thier life source. It is obvious most go here not experience a real life worth living. I recommend if in area to go Columbus has much much better hospital scene

      Recently moved and renovated
UPDATED 12/30/2014 - A step up and much improved after the recent move over to where "The Vault" used to be. Has a lot of potential. Unfortunately though, Dayton isn't the type of place where the bars draw out what few gay people are here. Also, I found out this place suffers from a bad rumor going around, which I won't post publicly on here. If you're looking to meet someone, don't be selective. Drinks are OK and reasonably priced.

      My favorite
This has to be my favorite spot in Dayton. I've never met a rude person at MJ's. Staff is friendy, patrons are awesome and the queens are absolutly amazing.

      Looked nice
First off, do not come Dayton. I don't think I've ever been to a city where it was so difficult to find a restaurant. They simply don't exist in Dayton. Weird. Anyway, I was at this bar on a Sun. afternoon, and it was tooootally dead. The bar itself looked pretty decent though, pretty large, so I'd be willing to give it another shot on a weekend night.
